Senior Account Executive

Our client, a major player in the aviation software industry is seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive within B2B sales for the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate is experienced with a proven track record within sales, is passionate about selling

and has the magic touch for closing deals. Outbound sales activities throughout EMEA, including providing critical post-sales on-boarding support is an integrated part of this role. You will work closely together with

a growing back-office team which will support your sales activities and customer relations.

Major responsibilities

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Understand customers’ needs and based on it work out and present a solution utilizing the unique features of the software products
  • Develop and maintain monthly sales forecasts
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns in collaboration with sales administration and the technical support team
  • Follow up on new leads and converting them to new clients
  • Prepare presentations, demonstrations, propositions and sales contracts
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and other events

Skills / Qualifikations

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales - preferably in aviation or software related fields
  • Prior experience in the aviation industry (pilot, flight planner, dispatcher or similar) is a major advantage
  • Documented ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Ability to compose and develop written materials and customer presentations in English
  • Strong communication skills are needed – both when meeting face to face with customers and when communicating on phone and in writing
  • International experience and knowledge of major European languages is considered a plus
